Preparation and Performance of A Novel Type of Concrete Air Entraining Agent

This article uses 1,4-dibromobutane, hexadecyl primary amine, sodium 3-chloro-2-hydroxypropionate, formaldehyde and formic acid as raw materials to synthesize a new type of concrete air entraining agent (1,4)-bis(cetylmethyl hydroxy-propionic quaternary ammonium salt) butane through the reaction ammonia alkylation quaternization. The characterizes molecular architecture product, surface activity aqueous solution, bubble properties, stabilizing properties fresh concrete, pore structure after hardening. research results show that synthesized has good in its critical micelle concentration (cmc) is 5.3×10-4 mmol/L, γcmc 28.86 mN/m; better air-entraining performance stability solution than SDS AOS agents. average chord length spacing coefficient bubbles hardened are smaller agent, giving rise overall concrete. Compared with AOS, mixed shows mechanical property durability.
